The DR-200 Water Well Drilling Rig is a crawler-mounted hydraulic rig with a 450 m drilling-depth rating, a 140–350 mm hole-diameter range and a 6.6 m feed stroke.
DR-200 Water Well Drilling Rig: drilling and air supply
The DR-200 Water Well Drilling Rig is designed for water wells, agricultural irrigation wells and geothermal boreholes. A Weichai diesel engine powers the hydraulic system, while the mast carries the rotary head and drill string.
Which drill-pipe sizes are available?
The drill-pipe diameter options are 89 and 102 mm. Pipe lengths are 1.5, 2, 3 and 6 m.
What air supply does the rig use?
The air-pressure range is 1.7–3.5 MPa and air consumption is 17–36 m³/min. The rig uses medium- and high-pressure down-the-hole hammers with an air compressor.
Rotary head and mast feed
The rotary head travels on a carriage along the mast, with a 6.6 m feed stroke. Rotary torque is 7,000–9,500 N·m and rotary speed is 50–135 rpm. Rapid lifting speed is 20 m/min and rapid feed speed is 40 m/min. Hydraulic hoses connect directly to the head.
Folding mast and hydraulic lifting cylinder
The mast rests horizontally above the chassis for transport and stands upright for drilling. A hydraulic lifting cylinder connects the mast support to the chassis, beneath the guide frame and hydraulic hose runs.
Crawler chassis and stabilizer legs
The steel crawler chassis supports the engine enclosure, mast and operator station. Travel speed is 2.5 km/h. Stabilizer legs extend around the chassis, ending in individual footplates that support the rig in its drilling position.
