The DR-500 Water Well Drilling Rig combines a hydraulic drilling assembly with a truck-mounted platform. It drills water wells and geothermal boreholes, with a drilling-depth rating of 280 m and a hole-diameter range of 140–305 mm.
Which drive configurations are available?
Drilling power is supplied by a separate 75 kW engine or by direct drive from the truck engine.
Which air and fluid configurations are available?
Air-compressor and mud-pump configurations are available. Air drilling uses 1.7–3.0 MPa pressure and 17–31 m³/min airflow. The drill-pipe diameters are 76 and 89 mm.

Truck-mounted working platform
The mast and drilling equipment are carried on the truck frame. The operator station sits on the side of the deck, with access steps below it. Outriggers with individual footplates extend from the frame for support during drilling.
Hydraulic mast and rotary head
The mast folds above the truck deck for transport and raises into its drilling position. The rotary head is mounted on the mast carriage, with a 6.6 m feed stroke. Rotary torque is 4,500–6,000 N·m and rotary speed is 40–70 rpm.
