Two-range hydraulic rotation
The hydraulic power head combines two mechanical speed ranges with stepless speed adjustment. Maximum rotation torque is 1,800 N·m. Maximum rotation speed is 1,400 rpm. The head is mounted on the mast carriage, with a hydraulic motor and external hoses directly behind it.
Hydraulic mast positioning
Hydraulic cylinders raise and lower the mast, which also slides as a complete assembly. The drilling angle adjusts from 45° to 90°. The mast guides the power head during feed and pull-up.
Centralized control console
The side-mounted console groups operating levers and gauges beside the mast. Gauges occupy the upper row, with manual control levers below.
The DR-300X Core Drilling Rig is a crawler-mounted, fully hydraulic machine for mineral exploration. It brings the rotary head, hydraulic feed system and lower clamping assembly together on an adjustable mast. The engine is rated at 92 kW at 2,200 rpm.
DR-300X Core Drilling Rig: feed, positioning and transport
How do mast slide travel and feed stroke differ?
The power head travels along the mast through a 1.8 m feed stroke. Mast slide travel is 1,200 mm and moves the complete mast relative to the chassis. The feed stroke controls drill-string movement; mast sliding positions the mast assembly.
How are pull-up and feed force used?
Pull-up force is 300 kN for lifting the drill string. Feed force is 150 kN in the forward feed direction. These ratings describe the two directions of the hydraulic feed system.
What are the travel speed and transport dimensions?
Crawler travel speed is 2–3 km/h. Transport dimensions are 4,400 mm long × 2,200 mm wide × 2,800 mm high.
