Hydraulic head with guided feed
The rotary head uses two mechanical speed ranges with stepless hydraulic adjustment. A cylinder-and-chain feed system moves the head along the mast guides, with 240 kN pull-up force and 120 kN feed force. Lateral head movement clears the drilling axis for pipe handling.
Gauges and manual operating controls
The side console places circular gauges above groups of manual levers. Instruments, switches and drilling controls share one operating station beside the mast assembly. The side platform gives access to the console.
Crawler chassis and leveling legs
Steel crawler tracks carry the machine between drilling positions at 2–3 km/h. Hydraulic leveling legs extend beside the chassis, with individual footplates supporting the frame during setup. Wireless remote control operates the crawler travel.
DR-100X Core Drilling Rig with hydraulic feed
The DR-100X Core Drilling Rig combines a hydraulic rotary head, cylinder-and-chain feed system and steel crawler chassis for geological core drilling. Two mechanical speed ranges work with stepless hydraulic speed adjustment. Maximum torque is 1,400 N·m and maximum rotary speed is 1,400 rpm.
Core drilling capacity and head travel
Drill-string capacities are BTW 650 m, NTW 600 m and HTW 400 m. The power head travels along the mast guides through a 1,800 mm feed stroke. Pull-up force is 240 kN and feed force is 120 kN. The head has a 95 mm through-hole.
A lateral shifting mechanism moves the head away from the drilling axis for drill-pipe handling. The hydraulic feed system combines a cylinder and chains, while connected hoses supply the head as it moves along the mast.
Mast positioning
Hydraulic cylinders raise and lower the mast for drilling angles from 45° to 90°. The mast has 800 mm sliding travel and an overall height of 6.1 m. This arrangement combines angle adjustment with movement of the mast relative to the chassis.
Operating console
Circular gauges sit above several banks of manual levers on the side console. The instruments and controls are grouped together beside the drilling assembly. The operating platform is mounted along the side of the crawler frame.
Crawler travel and leveling
Steel crawler tracks move the rig between boreholes at 2–3 km/h. The chassis has a 25° climbing angle, and travel can be controlled with a wireless remote. Hydraulic leveling legs with individual footplates support the frame during setup.
Engine and hydraulic system
The engine delivers 92 kW at 2,200 rpm. An axial piston pump and a triple gear pump supply the fully hydraulic drive. The hydraulic system uses load-sensing control and water cooling. Transport dimensions are 4,500 × 1,900 × 2,650 mm.
