Power head and guided feed
The power head travels on a carriage along the mast, with a 4.8 m feed stroke. The guide rail, feed chain and hydraulic hoses run beside the carriage. A clamp assembly sits at the front end of the mast.
Hydraulic mast positioning
A jointed hydraulic arm supports the mast above the crawler chassis. Hydraulic cylinders position the arm and mast, allowing upright and horizontal drilling positions. The horizontal mast can be raised to different working heights.
Grouped manual controls
A side-mounted station brings the gauges and operating levers together beside the mast support. The lever bank sits above the hydraulic valve connections, with hoses routed from this area into the machine.
DR-120M Anchor Drilling Rig: positioning and feed
