Elevated drilling platform
An articulated boom carries the drilling platform above the crawler base. Guardrails border the platform, and controls are grouped at one end. Hydraulic hoses run beneath the drilling assembly.
Crawler chassis and stabilizers
The tracked undercarriage supports the boom assembly. Stabilizer legs end in ground-contact pads. A lower operator station places a seat and control panel beside the boom pivot.
DR-250M Anchor Drilling Rig with an elevated platform
The DR-250M Anchor Drilling Rig combines hydraulic controls, a crawler undercarriage and an articulated boom carrying the drilling platform. The platform is edged by guardrails, with a group of control levers at one end.
Drilling methods and applications
Drilling methods include pneumatic DTH hammer drilling, casing drilling and long-auger drilling. Applications include prestressed anchor holes and slope-drainage holes.
Hydraulic drilling package
A 45 kW motor and dual hydraulic power head form the drilling package. Reducer torque ranges from 4,500 to 7,000 N·m. The tracked base uses 400 mm track shoes and has dimensions of 3,200 × 2,300 mm.
