The DR-DHD340 DTH hammer delivers compressed-air percussion through a DHD340-shank drill bit. Its body has a 99 mm outside diameter, an 881 mm length without the bit and a net weight of 38 kg.

DR-DHD340 DTH hammer connections

The API 2 3/8 REG pin top sub connects the hammer to the drill string. The drive end accepts a DHD340-shank bit for recommended hole sizes of 108–130 mm. The upper thread and lower bit shank are separate interfaces. Browse our drilling tools and accessories.

Compressed-air operation

The working-pressure range is 8–30 bar, with an impact frequency of 31 Hz at 18 bar. Air consumption is 5 m³/min at 10 bar, 10.2 m³/min at 18 bar and 15 m³/min at 24 bar. Explore our air compressors and the technical explanation of down-the-hole drilling and compressed-air percussion.
